Let's see... Good sites, first! Memebox, Kollection K, Burt's Bees, Ulta, and Sephora. Memebox is more of a directory than anything, but on the plus side, it links you directly to products in store so you don't have to search for them.

As for brands, Innisfree, Burt's Bees, Sulwhasoo, Clinique, Shiseido, Face Shop, Missha, and Etude House are pretty quality. I also admit that I'm a bit cheap, and tend to live off sample sizes forever (which you'll usually receive a thousand of if you order things online). It's really convenient, and lets you try a lot of product that's too expensive on its own.

But, it's rare that I'll wear foundation, and I could claim that it's too extra for me (which would be ridiculous, see photos below), but laziness has a lot to answer for, and sensitive skin would be the second reason. Celiac's left it scarred and a little too irritable (though it's healing) so, ingredients are important! It's best to try small amounts of things on small areas that aren't your face first.

Burt's Bees has the only cleanser that's ever worked for me as far as keeping my face clear (Cetaphil is great on its own too), but masks are wonderful as treatments. I tend to use them sparingly (did I mention being cheap, wow) but they're loaded with benefits, and great for terrifying your sibling or significant other, or yourself... when you forget it's on... But I stay away from scrubs, and only use shower puffs. Witch hazel makes a nice toner too, and it's incredibly inexpensive! I use cocoa butter for moisturizer (it's seemed to help with scars quite a bit!), because I don't mind smelling like coconut and Mounds bars. Sulwhasoo's ginseng cream is the holy grail to me, but a single jar is about a month's worth of groceries, so I only buy the tiny 5ml samples online. I use lemon juice + baking soda for a lot of things, like clearing blackheads, but it makes the skin a little tight after, so it's not my favorite thing to do.

As for makeup, Milk is my favorite brand in the world, because it's gentle, and for the most part, I keep to their holographic sticks. They work as highlighter, eye shadow, lipgloss, a ton of things! I get compliments on my makeup, and it's literally the only thing on my face. It doesn't seem to give my skin any trouble, but I do wash it off before bed. I don't use lipsticks, but I do use EOS balms compulsively (which are way cheaper at the drug store, please don't bother to buy them online), which I may or may not be addicted to, and Clinique sugar scrubs + balm on occasion.

This would be my favorite tutorial video, not safe for work language, but Bretman's the best at this! I recommend surfing his channel just for the tutorials alone.

I don't have a large collection myself, but, I do recommend Sephora's palettes, because they're simple, and cost less, and great for people like me who have no clue what colors should go together on the eyes. It's just, "here, use these three, we put them in a row for you". I do not recommend Christian Dior (those were gifts, a peasant like me does not deserve to wear, hah hah) because it's way, way too unnecessarily expensive, and it's not a world of difference compared to other brands. But, it's really good to find a nice "4 square" palette like that, because they literally tell you which order and area on the eyes they're applied to.

That fat cigar thing is pretty nice mascara, the blush is a tiny sampler from Tarte, and the liner's from Smashbox, "Limitless". I've had it forever, I should... probably toss it. Also, buy an angled brush! Elf makes a good one for about $3, and it makes things much easier. Also, last thing, Make Up For Ever is great if you do spring for foundation!
